PAROLE AND PROBATION OFFICER

Critical Fill Candidates: If you have recently retired from a Nevada law enforcement agency and want to continue serving and protecting Nevada while supplementing your retirement, join the Nevada State Police as a Critical Fill hire. Lateral Candidates: To qualify you must be Certified as a Category I Peace Officer from a Nevada P.O.S.T. approved law enforcement academy and have one year of law enforcement experience as a Category I Peace Officer; OR one year of experience as a DPS Officer I in Nevada State service.

Vertical jump (11.5 inches from your highest reach)
Agility Run within 23.4 seconds
24 sit-ups within one minute
18 push-ups with no time limit
300-meter dash within 82 seconds
A mile-and-a-half run/walk within 20 minutes and 20 seconds
Ongoing physical fitness and written exam test dates are held weekly in Las Vegas and Carson City for qualifying candidates.
